A few weeks ago after dinner, I took the little Grandkids on a walk around the block and we got into a conversation about why everything was black at night. I stopped in front of the neighbor’s flowerbed and turned on the flashlight to show them that the colour was still there even though it was dark. The little six-year-old said, “That’s why the sun comes out Grandma, so we can see how pretty the flowers are.”
